MORNING HABITS THAT EVERY MAN SHOULD BE DOING

Mornings signify a new beginning. It depicts the brightness and freshness a new day provides. However, most of us are stuck in a routine. We don’t stop and savor it. We are always in a hurry, hurry to get to work or college. BUT, If you take a moment to stop, and enjoy it, you will have a brighter day. Now, I’m not suggesting you to just stop and look around. On the contrary, I’m advising you do the following things for a better future. These are the things every man should be doing in the morning. It helps in increasing your vitality and makes you a better man.

Seems just like any other blog. Right?

But this is different. Because we want you to do some self-realization.
Ask yourself. Do you plan out each day? Or Are you stuck in a loop?
Do you take care of your body? Or Are you just cruising on without care?

Most of us tend to fall in the median area, that is planning some days and auto-piloting most of them, which is why it is important for us to set and follow a fully planned morning to remain active and fresh throughout the day.

Task 1: STRETCH!!

When you are sleeping, your muscles are lax. Stretching them after a good(hopefully) night’s sleep helps wake your body up! Like a reboot.

Stretching can help improve blood flow and also decrease stress. This movement triggers your nervous system and gets you to wake-up.

While this may be an instinctive move for most of us, there are a few who don’t stretch.

And if you are one of the few, you’d be amazed by how relieving it feels to stretch.

Task 2: WATER, WATER, MORE WATERRRRRR!!

As stressed in all our posts, drinking enough water throughout the day is very essential. It keeps you hydrated.

But Drinking a big glass of water as soon as you wake up, fires up your metabolism and kick-starts your brain cells.

It also helps in flushing out the toxins from your body first thing in the morning.

Not drinking enough water can lead to dehydration which affects your energy levels, physical performance, and functionality throughout the day.

Since water accounts for almost 60% of our body mass, drinking water also keeps you healthy and fit. It makes your skin look fresh and maintains your body temperature.

Hence, Drink a glass of water every morning.

Task 3: Taking care of your face

Every time you go out, dust particles build up on the surface of your skin. And since the skin on our face is thinner and more vulnerable, it requires more attention and TLC.

Washing your face right after you get up, WAKES you up!

Ever gotten kicked out of class for dozing off? Remember being sprayed with water or asked to go wash your face? Ohh those good old days.

Make it a habit to wash your face using a mild face wash right after you wake up or come home. If the impurities are not washed off, they can clog your pores leading to breakouts, pimples, and other skin problems.

The best time to work out is in the mornings.

‘Whyyyyyy?’, you ask.

Because this freshens you up and keeps you active throughout the day.

Most of them prefer working out early in the morning; The common reason being that they can get one thing done and dusted for the day. While that’s one way to look at it, working out in the morning has other benefits too.

Among its various benefits, a few mention worthy ones are that it helps in burning more fat, builds more efficiency in your body, and helps lower blood pressure.

Don’t feel like going to the gym or exercising? Not an issue. You could go Walking or Jogging too.

Task 5: Having a healthy breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is a very well known fact. But still, most of us skip breakfast. Whether it is because of a weight loss idea or no time, the effects of skipping breakfast is not worth it.

Skipping breakfast leads to frequent headaches (migraines), low blood sugar, dizziness and lack of concentration. You will feel lethargic and tired for the rest of the day until you eat. And because you skipped breakfast, you may overindulge in snacks or lunch, risking obesity.

If you are in a hurry, or not hungry, eat fruits like an apple, bananas etc., but don’t skip.

Task 6: Planning the day out

Once you’ve completed your workout and done getting ready for the day, the next step is to plan out your day’s schedule.

This helps you list things down, so you don’t lose sight of your goals. Listing it down also helps you prioritize and gives you a productive day.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

Wake up each day ready to conquer the world! Try incorporating the above key tasks into your routine. Best way to get you into the cycle is to drag your fellow mates into following it too!
